Bill Wadman is an American portrait photographer in Brooklyn, New York. His images have been seen on the covers and pages of major publications, books, and galleries throughout the world.

After earning a degree from Berklee College of Music and a few years as an art director in the glamorous world of NYC advertising, Bill rediscovered photography and figured out what he wanted to do with his life.

In 2007 Bill launched his career by completing 365portraits.com, a daily project which won him praise from USA Today, the Times of London, Playboy, and was chosen as Yahoo! Site of the Day (a big deal at the time). From 2017-2019 Bill completed a new series of 1095 daily portraits visible on Instagram @wadman365.

Bill's long-exposure 'Motion' project has been featured in Popular Photography, Eloquence, and PhotoYou magazines as well as on The Huffington Post. In January 2013 the Adobe Press book Adobe Master Class: Photoshop featured a chapter on Bill's work including a walk-through of his compositing and post-production workflow. His conceptual portrait work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions throughout North America.

Bill was the co-host of the popular photography podcast On Taking Pictures.
