My assistant Tim and I woke up before the summer sun to spend a few hours with Lee in the fields of Salina, KS. Lee is the Lead Scientist of the Kernza® Domestication Program, The Land Institute. Which means he's breeding a new form of perennial wheat from wild grasses.

Bob Moore - Eating Well Outtakes

Bob Moore is the emonymous Bob of Bob's Red Mill. You probably have some of their oats and flour in your pantry right now. He was a great guy that we ended up spending almost the whole day with at the main store, the warehouse, and even the factory where it's all made.
