It's time to get out of the studio and make some new conceptual environmental portraits and I need your help finding subjects.
What's all this about?
A few years ago I made a series of images called Drabbles (http://www.billwadman.com/drabbles) that I showed at Soho Photo. I loved the process of making them and miss the spark it gave me. So I'm going to start a new series soon, but I need some fresh blood in my subject pool.
Who am I looking for?
So if you or someone you know in the NYC area has been described as 'Striking' or 'Interesting looking', or has a specific talent and you think might make a great subject then I want to hear from you. I'm looking for people interested in collaboration, a little experimentation, and a whole lot of fun. All adults, all ethnicities, etc. are welcome.
How do I sign up!?
If you'd like to submit yourself, please send an email with the following to: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Your name
- Whereabouts you live
- Your general schedule (free days, nights, weekends, etc)
- Any interesting locations you have access to
- If you've got inspiration for the photo, I'd love to hear that too
- Lastly, attach a couple of pictures so I can see what you look like.
And I'll be in touch.
Even if this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, please please please share and repost and tell your friends so I can reach as many people as possible. The more I have to choose from, the better the potential of the final results.
Also, any photography buffs who want to sign up to help on the shoots, send me an email as well.
I'm not sure where this is going yet, but it's all about the journey.
Thank you so much!
